Jason received his MFA in Lighting Design and Technology from Purdue University in May of 2000. Currently, he works for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL as an Event Planner for Disney/MGM Studios.

Jason has been designing lights professionally for 10 years. Among his regional credits are Art and I Hate Hamlet for the Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival, A Raisin in the Sun, Ah Wilderness & The Impossible Marriage for Theatre UCF and 42nd Street & Over the River & Through the Woods for Theatre Winterhaven. Nationally, Jason's credits include designing lights in Indianapolis, IN for the Phoenix Theatre's production of Wit, Schoolhouse Rock, Live! for the Emporia Summer Theatre in Emporia, KS. Alice in Wonderland for Summer Stages Repertory theatre at Southwestern University, TX and The Comedy of Errors and The Gut Girls at Purdue University.

Jason has taught script analysis and continues to be a guest lecturer for the University of Central Florida. Additionally, he's been both a lab instructor and the Course Director of Show Light Engineering in the Show Production Division of Full Sail-Real World Education in Orlando, FL where he taught moving light technology, programming, design & CAD.

Jason originally hails from South Dakota where he attended South Dakota State University, receiving degrees in both theatre and music education.
